With eight new flood warning areas, more residents and businesses in the North East of Scotland can now benefit from SEPAs Floodline service.  Coastal flood warnings can now be provided for over 2029 properties in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Angus.

If you live, work or travel through any of these areas regularly, you can register for free flood warnings which will be sent direct to your phone when flooding is forecast.

The eight Flood Warning Areas are: Inverallochy to St Combs, St Fergus Gas Terminal, Peterhead to Boddam, Port Errol to Newburgh, Aberdeen Coastal, Stonehaven, Inverbervie to Tangleha and Montrose.

A Flood Warning will be issued when flooding is expected for the area highlighted in red. It will give you time to prepare for flooding and reduce the damage and disruption to your life or business.
