Flood Warnings
As Scotland's national flood forecasting and warning authority, we are continuing to extend our flood warning network. Our Flood Warning Schemes include a network of more than 60 targeted local warning schemes and building on our commitment to support Scottish communities to prepare more powerfully for future increased flooding.
We work closely with local communities to help improve resilience and reduce the impacts of flooding. If you are at risk of flooding from rivers or the sea, our flood warning service helps to give you time to protect yourself and your property.
